In this project, we will create an AR browser to bind contents with geolocation or AR marker, and create an AR cloud to resolve contents around the browser.
We aim to create an AR cloud platform to enterprises who wish to deliver rich contents to the users. Users will also be able to upload contents easily by themselves. By this approach, our AR cloud platform will be populated with contents from both enterprises and users.
In the future, there should be many instances to use AR in everyday life. For instance, in a movie theater, movie characters will greet the visitors at the entrance. In elementary schools, children can exhibit their 3D models and animations created in a class of arts and crafts in their classrooms. People can decorate their own garden with AR.
In the past, we marveled at how the Internet changed our lives and our way of searching information. In this project, we aim to create a similar phenomenon by creating a platform for binding contents in the AR field.
The team already possesses two fundamentals for starting new business; good communication among the committed team members (five people) and a pilot customer project. I have a deep interest in the technology side of WebGL, 3D and VR, and am happy to mentor this project.
After the interview, I found both product development plan and business plan are feasible and crystal-clear to evolve the business during the MITOU Advanced program period. The technology and communication skills of the team looks high enough to execute the plan, and I would like to provide mentoring to them as their business adviser.
