Japan Information Technology Security Evaluation and Certification Scheme
Japan Information Technology Security Evaluation and Certification Scheme ("JISEC") is a scheme under which third-party evaluation facilities evaluate whether IT product security is effective and reliably implemented in accordance with ISO/IEC 15408, the international standard for evaluation criteria for IT security based on CC and the certification provides independent confirmation of the validity of evaluation results by Innovation Platform Agency, Japan ("IPA"; formerly known as Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan).
