プレス発表 IPAとCatena-X、自動車業界向けデータの相互運用を目指し覚書を締結

IPAとCatena-Xは自動車業界向けデータ共有エコシステム間の相互運用性を実現し、最終的には各自動車業界相互間でのデータ共有・利活用の実現を目指すことを目的として、両者の相互運用性の実現に必要な要件を評価し、検証（PoC）を実施することを合意しました。

IPAのデジタルアーキテクチャ・デザインセンターとCatena-Xは、各々の国・地域固有の制約・条件を相互に尊重しつつ、データ共有に関する各産業界に共通する基本的価値観の重要性を共有していることを再確認し、相互運用性を向上させるために必要な共通の標準化ツールの使用や開発に向けて、将来的な可能性について議論することに合意しました。今後は本MOUに基づき、相互運用に必要な検証(PoC)の準備および評価に向け、主に以下のような事項についての協力・協働を進めていきます。

• システム接続方法
• ユーザー認証方法
• データ転送方法
• セマンティック／データモデル
• データアクセスおよびデータ活用に関する方針

IPAとCatena-Xは、相互運用の実現可能性について2024年12月31日までに結論を出すことを目指し密に連携していきます。

Catena-Xについて

Catena-X自動車ネットワークは国際的なアライアンスであり、データ駆動型でグローバルな自動車バリューチェーンのための初のオペレーティングシステム構築に取り組むグローバルなネットワークです。Catena-Xの主目的は、価値創出プロセス全体にわたる相互間のデータチェーンを用いて構築、活動、協業を行うための最も使いやすい環境を提供することで、デジタルなやりとりの共通基盤を作ることです。そのためにCatena-Xは、自動車メーカーやサプライヤー、ディーラーや装置供給者、さらにアプリケーション、プラットフォーム、インフラの提供者も含めて、誰でも平等に参加できるデジタルエコノミーの究極の玄関口となります。

IPA and Catena-X sign an MOU on Automotive Industry Data Sharing Interoperability.

IPA and Catena-X reached the common recognition to advance for the sharing of the automotive data and the practical utilization thereof, including the interoperability of respective automotive data sharing system. The objective of this MOU is to make it possible finally to mutually share and practically utilize the respective automotive data, and for that purpose to promote assessing the requirement and executing the PoC for interoperability.

Digital Architecture Design Center of IPA and Catena-X reaffirmed the importance of sharing the fundamental values of data sharing across industry value chains while respecting boundaries and conditions specific to each region and country. Under the MOU, IPA and Catena-X agreed to cooperate and collaborate on preparation and assessment for interoperability PoC. Below are examples of the discussion topics.

• System connection method
• User authentication method
• Data transfer method
• Semantics/data models
• Data access and usage policies

IPA and Catena-X will execute the initiative with the aim to achieve completion of the judgment for establishing interoperability by December 31, 2024.
