About IPA/ISEC

The Information-technology SEcurity Center (ISEC) is a public information sharing center for promoting information security in Japan.

It was established on January 1, 1997 as a division of IPA. IPA is an affiliated organization to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
