MSI format installer

These installers are the MSI format that is used as standard on Windows. Please select the correct installer according to your product edition, usage environment and version and download the installer to the desired folder (e.g. Desktop).

STAMP Workbench Requirements

Version up

If you are already using STAMP Workbench, please uninstall or remove the old version and then install the new version.
Even if you uninstall the old version or delete the folder, the settings made in the old version will be automatically carried over to the new version.

1. Exit STAMP Workbench
2. Uninstall with the uninstaller
3. Completely delete the previously installed stampworkbench folder.
   (Folder with implicit setting is C: \ Program Files \ stampworkbench)
4. Install STAMP Workbench again

JRE update

STAMP Workbench uses the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and includes the JRE in the installation package. If you have problems with STAMP Workbench operation due to the included JRE, you may be able to solve the problem by updating the JRE. This procedure manual describes the procedure for the user to update the JRE of the installed STAMP Workbench by yourself.
Please note that this procedure can be applied to STAMP Workbench Ver2.0.0 that includes Adopt Open JDK, and not to Ver 1.0.2 or earlier versions that include oracle JDK.

Tips

These tips are minor notes on the tool's operation, and are not important tips on STPA analysis methods.

1. Dark mode (high contrast mode)
   It has been confirmed that some characters cannot be read when "High Contrast Mode" is enabled and "High Contrast: Black" is set in the Windows settings. STAMP Workbench does not support automatic text / graphic color change in "High Contrast Mode". Try selecting the background, shape, line, and text colors in the Diagram Editor of [Tool] -> [System Property].

2. Problem with Excel output
   This is a method to deal with the performance limitation of MS office. Excel has a default maximum column width of 255 characters (depending on the version of MS office), so if you set the column width (cell width) of the table in this tool to 256 characters or more, an error may occur when outputting to Excel.
   An error will occur when outputting a table from this tool to Excel if a high resolution is set on a 4K or higher display, the full screen window of this tool is displayed in full screen mode with the full screen displayed in reduced size, and the cell width is set to exceed 255 characters. However, the data retained by the tool will not be corrupted or lost when the error occurs.
   The problem can be avoided by changing the window width of the tool to a slightly smaller size before executing the Excel output.
