Foreign Government Officials Visited ICSCoE’s Exercise Facility During the " International Cybersecurity Workshop, Exercise and Tour" (hosted by NISC)

On December 9, 2022, The Industrial Cyber Security Center of Excellence (ICSCoE) introduced its exercise facility in Akihabara during the “International Cybersecurity Workshop, Exercise and Tour ,” which the National center of Incident readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC) conducted to strengthen international cooperation and efforts in the cybersecurity field. This facility installs the simulated plants possessing near-actual equipment to learn cybersecurity measures for OT systems.

Eight government officials expertized cybersecurity from the European Union, Czech Republic, Thailand, India, and Indonesia visited the ICSCoE.
The ICSCoE conducted the demonstrations utilizing the simulated plants after explaining the facility to the officials.

Besides, we had many lively exchanges of views on our efforts among the participants, and the officials understood that the ICSCoE’s facility and its human resource development operations are progressive and unique initiatives.
