PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Description of TOE
The TOE is an IC chip for a public transportation IC card compliant with the Public Transportation IC Card Protection Profile.
The TOE consists of the IC with a contactless interface and a smartcard embedded software (FeliCa OS).
TOE security functionality
The main security functions of TOE are shown below.
- Physical attacks, side channel attacks and perturbation are known as attacks against IC card. The TOE offers the tamper-resistant functionalities that protect IC chip from exploitation of the assets.
- The TOE offers protection of the confidentiality and integrity of the assets stored in the TOE by the mutual authentication function and the access control function depending on the service.
- The TOE communicates with the external entity via contactless interface. The TOE offers protection against the eavesdropping and altering by establishing the secure channel.
- The TOE offers prevention of abuse of functions unavailable after TOE delivery.
