Description of TOE
The TOE is a software product to support systems management that is required for stable application systems operation. The TOE totally supports systems management of application systems resources in 4 phases of systems management.
The application systems resources is a generic name of servers, clients and network devices such as hubs, routers that are constituent elements of application systems.
The 4 phases are defined in the TOE and are "Deploy, "Monitoring", "Recovery" and "Assessment".

- Deploy is a phase to deploy software and data to application servers and application
clients. The TOE provides "Resource distribution function" to distribute and apply
software and data to them.
- "Monitoring" is a phase to monitor failure status of application systems.
The TOE provides "Event monitoring function" to monitor operation status,
performance and so on.
- "Recovery" is a phase to investigate cause of failure and recover from failure
status when application systems fell into trouble. The TOE provides "Operation
function" to investigate and recover failures.
- "Assessment" is a phase to evaluate and analyze application systems periodically
and then plan appropriate precaution. The TOE provides "Operation status analyses
function" for application systems.
