PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Description of TOE
The TOE is software for countermeasures against information leakages for PCs running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008. The purpose of the TOE is to prevent files being leaked to anybody other than those who are intended. The TOE is a server-client product used in Windows domain environments as well as in mobile environments. Administrators use the TOE's server functions to collectively control its client functions for end-users.
To prevent information leakages the TOE has the following security functions: a function that limits application programs and their operations that end users can use in taking files out with removable media, Internet browsers, or e-mails, a function that automatically encrypts taken-out files, and a function that encrypts hard-disks in client PCs. The TOE also has an administrative function and an audit function for administrating the security functions.

- Write control function
A function that restricts application programs that end users can use in taking files out.

- Self-propelled encryption function
A function that encrypts files in an executable file format that allows self decryption in an environment where the TOE is not installed.
- Storage encryption function
A function that encrypts a whole hard-disk.
- Audit function | ||
A function that outputs logs on the files operated and enables checking by administrators.
