PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Description of PP
The TOE is an embedded secure element (eSE) on the mobile phone. The TOE acts as a Java Card system that provides a secure signature creation device (SSCD) with key generation for creating a digital signature and authenticating users.
PP security functionality
The main security functionalities are as follows:
- Communication Data Protection
Secure messaging functions are applied to communications between the TOE and the Certificate Generation Application (CGA) to protect the confidentiality and integrity of communication data.
- User Authentication and Access Control
The TOE performs identification and authentication of users and implements access control in order to provide functions according to the user's role.
- Cryptographic Operations
The TOE provides cryptographic functions such as hash functions, generation of Secret Keys (SK) / Public Keys (PK), and signature generation/verification.
- Resistance to Physical Attacks
The security functions of the TOE are designed to resist physical attacks on its own hardware components. The assumed attacks are the same as those for general ICs.
