Accumulation and Integration of OSS information and Opening It to the Public

Information accumulated and integrated through all the activities of OSS Center will be open to the public through OSS iPedia ( the Database in OSS Center). As for the database itself, we will select proper information that users need, and keep improving the usability and accessibility for the users. Furthermore, by conducting improvement of the user interface and substantiality of content, OSS iPedia will grow to be a truly indispensable system for users.

We will continue to study new types of information sharing and information openness in addition to the existing access/refer functions, such as not only searching and referring to the existing information, but also registering new information that has been made open to the public, and the writing-in of comments. With the results from these activities, the development of an information sharing and publicizing system of next generation will be planned.
