Security Software Development

IPA/ISEC promotes software development in the same way as other divisions of IPA.  We consider this activity as IT security technology acquisition and, at the same time, we can provide financial support to worthwhile projects. 

Procedure

  1. We announce invitations for proposals on our web server in Japanese. On each announcement, we list the requirement for each theme.
  2. We qualify the proposals on documents and, if necessary, invite the candidate for interview.
  3. If conditions meet, we make contract with the qualified candidates to pay personnel expenditure of the project. We never pay for facilities.
  4. At the end of the term of contract, we test the product.  If the product meet the specification we expect, we pay the amount on the contract.  Disclosure conditions vary for each invitation announcement.
