The Information-technology Promotion Agency and the Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan are pleased to inform you that the Cryptography Symposium will be held on Friday, Oct. 20. Details appear below. This symposium will serve as an opportunity to communicate as extensively as possible, to both parties from Japan and those from overseas, information concerning trends in cryptographic techniques and standardization in this field. It will also be a forum for presenting this audience with details related to the evaluation of cryptographic techniques that is currently being performed by the CRYPTREC (Cryptography Research & Evaluation Committee). Results of cryptographic technology research carried out by the Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan's Yokohama Research Center will also be presented. We hope that your schedule will allow you to attend this event.
