INVITATION TO ATTEND THE

CRYPTREC 2001-2002

Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan; hereafter abbreviated to IPA, and Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan; hereafter abbreviated to TAO, have been jointly promoting the cryptographic technique evaluation project; CRYPTREC by the CRYPTREC Evaluation Committee. The Committee are aggressively evaluating various cryptographic techniques. Now, IPA and TAO plan jointly to hold an meeting for reporting the CRYPTREC activities in FY2001. Especially, this meeting is intended to publicize the report written by CRYPTREC Advisory Committee, which is managed by the Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
