This White Paper (WP2007E) is the first release of fully translated edition of the IPA/SEC White Papers which have been annually published from 2005.
WP2007E reports the complete analysis of software development/maintenance projects in recent Japanese IT industry to quantitatively demonstrate its technological competence.
The analysis is backed by IPA/SEC project data set, which is one of the largest data set in the word (1,770 projects are collected in 2004 to 2006). IPA/SEC White Papers will be listed in bibliography of ISO/IEC International Standard 29155 series (IT project performance benchmarking framework).
