All nations must cooperate in the field of software development and make efforts to mutually absorb new technologies to produce the most-advanced IT products. On the other hand, Japan with poor natural resources must concentrate its efforts into value-added industries, such as IT industry, to have an advantage in global competition in the future.

 The USA and European countries are leading IT countries, and Asian countries have made significant progress in IT in recent years.
